Kurt is a former Westgate Imperials Junior star, who returns to captain the inaugural Big V team at Westgate. Kurt brings Big V competitive experience, having played at Altona.
James is the starting point guard. Who brings basketball IQ and experience to the side, having played with Diamond Valley last season.
Liam started playing basketball with the Willy Cannons from age 8. Liam played with the Imperials as a junior and last year won a Youth League championship with Hume City Broncos.
Issac was Westgate’s U20s Most Valuable player last season and has ambitions to play College basketball in the US. Isaac plays as a power forward and is 6’7
Troy is a long time Imperials star, playing with the club from U12s until now. He plays as a power forward and stands at 6’6 tall.
Mabeny joins the Imperials having previously played with Wyndham in the Youth League competition last season. Mabeny is 6’7 and plays center and power forward.
At just 18 Sascha is 6’8 and has joined Westgate for the great culture. Sascha aims to play College Basketball in the US.
A man who needs no introduction at Westgate having been part of the rep program and junior domestic competition from a very young age. Lachie plays as a small forward and is thrilled to continue wearing red, blue and white in the Big V
Bayley started playing basketball at age 6, and joins us from the Sunbury.. Bailey was part of the State Development Program for 3 years and plays as a shooting guard.
Nic’s very first basketball game was at RecWest, and will have the opportunity to play his first season of Big V. Nick has played with the Longhorns and plays as a Forward.
James plays as a point guard, and has ambitions to be a pro basketballer.
Tim joins Westgate from Melton. He has joined Westgate for the opportunities we provide and the culture. He plays as a point guard.
Jamil plays in our 20.1 mens side in the VJBL and plays as a guard.
Dom plays in our U20.1 mens side. He plays as a small forward and has aspirations to play pro level basketball.
Kellan joined the Imperials in U14s, and also plays in the 20.1 side this season. When Kellan is not playing, he is also a coach, having last season been an assistant to the U12s VC team, and this season taking on our U10 development team.
Maehe is part of the our 18.1 boys side, and shooting guard/small forward. Maehe joined Westgate to be part of the new exciting Big V pathway.
Olyseyi has joined Westgate because of the culture and to focus on his development. He 6’5 and as ambitions to play pro basketball
Josh started playing with the Imperials when he was in the U18s. In U20s he won the MVP two years in a row.
