WELCOME TO WESTGATE BASKETBALL

At Westgate Basketball, we’re more than just a basketball association, we’re a thriving community in Melbourne’s inner west. With programs for all ages and abilities, from our youngest Aussie Hoopers through to our elite Big V teams, we create pathways for athletes to grow, compete, and succeed on and off the court.

OUR PROGRAMS & COMPETIONS

AUSSIE HOOPS

A beginner basketball program designed for 5 to 10 year olds, a great introduction to the sport.

JUNIOR DOMESTIC COMPETITION

Competitive basketball for all levels from U8s to U18s.    Games played on Saturdays, with the exception of U8s which is played on Friday night.

IMPERIALS ACADEMY

Westgate Basketball’s player development program.  The academy is hosted by experience representative coaches and designed for U10 to U14 athletes who want to improve their game.

Westgate's representative teams play under a unified banner, the "Westgate Imperials"  in the Victorian Junior Basketball League
